The property was exactly what we love. It is a former vineyard house lovingly renovated by Barbara and her husband with spacious rooms and delightful nooks and crannies, all comfortably furnished and adorned with interesting accessories and knick-knacks. The thickness of the walls ensured that it was cool even when very hot outside. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The surrounding views, of field and forest, were peaceful and bucolic The stunning town of Loches is a dozen or so kilometres away, with its historic huildings and echoes of Joan of Arc, whilst we couldn't have wished for a more welcoming and good-humoured hostess.

20 km from Chateau de Loches in La Closerie, Le Hameau de la Closerie provides accommodation with access to spa facilities and open-air bath.

The Closery was the perfect stay, and we really enjoyed the spacious house surrounded by the beautiful landscape. The whole house is nicely decorated and very well equipped. Everything is clean. The host was really kind and helpful. We would come back anytime!

Fabulous stay in the family room at the Chateau. Separate bedroom with 3 single beds - one for each child. Exceptional breakfast and beautiful grounds. We were able to use the pool and relax a bit which was great. Large bathroom. Cute little town but avoid the Creperie - doesn't live up to Trip advisor reviews.

Everything !! The property is completely fantastic. I think one of best gites we have ever stayed in Decor is outstanding. The beds comfortable. Thr kitchen very well equipped. All the outdoor areas and special. Just a great environment Thr hot tub as an extra is well worth doing. Ask in advance so they can heat it up for you Also a lovely restaurant in village And you can cycle along the river Cher. Wonderful.
