It's rare for us to get such a good experience from hosts! Otherwise, the location was perfect for us, and having a parking spot nearby really helped us when we were arriving late at night from the Summerside Festival in a nearby town. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony we could relax at the end of a long day.

Some of the rooms offer a view of the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh mountains, which are over 4,000 m high. Super nice staff! We booked one room with a private bath and one with a shared bathroom, but they upgraded us to two rooms with private bathrooms for free! Okish breakfast, but the location is incredible – a 1km walk to Staubbach Falls, and steps from the cable car and train station! Clean rooms with super comfy king-size beds!

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. The hotel was fantastic, View was absolutely gorgeous and the atmosphere of the room was beyond our expectations. Definitely will visit again.
