Roy Burchfield has lived in the Lake Conroe / Montgomery Texas community for over 30 years and he takes great pride in maintaining his properties and creating space for you, your family, and friends, making sure you have everything you need throughout your stay with us. Roy has had rental properties for 20+ years and has been growing his Short Stay Rental business since 2019. A Superhost and Premier Host, Roy and his Team are readily available to answer any questions and/or assist before, during, and after your stays.
Roy and his wife, Kelly, live nearby in downtown Montgomery at their Train Depot Home and their Forest Home just north of Montgomery in the Sam Houston National Forest with their sweet English Bull Terrier, Juno.
Property information
Come relax on 5 acres of outdoor fun! Enjoy our well-fed private swimming pond, fish off the backside pier, or play a game of sand volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, etc. The studio is attached to the main house (The Manor) but has its own private entrance under carport (no access between units unless both accommodations are rented). Upstairs you will find 2 queen beds and a sitting area w/ loveseat and TV. Downstairs includes a couch, TV, breakfast table, kitchenette, full bath with a stand up shower.
If you are planning a social gathering during your stay with us, but only the maximum number of guests will be staying the night, we do still require approval prior to check-in and an additional fee may apply based on the number of people expected to enjoy this accommodation with you for your gathering. Again, we do allow social gatherings, but WE DO REQUIRE NOTIFICATION prior to check-in and the HOST's FINAL APPROVAL.
Upon arrival at the front gate, press button on ring and one of us will open the gate for you. A gate opener (clicker) is left for you on the coffee table just inside door for seamless access coming and going throughout your stay. When leaving the property, please note our front gate is motion trigger, so approach slowly and the gate will open for you.
PARKING... Our West Wing Guests may park beneath the carport. If additional parking is needed, you may park another vehicle behind a car/truck under carport, but please DO NOT BLOCK OUR DRIVEWAY TO THE LEFT as that is the access road for our Casita Guests, etc.
LATE CHECK-OUT options available at three different levels: Until 12 noon @ no charge Until 2pm @ 45_Until 6pm @ 75. * If a LATE CHECK-OUT is desired, please connect with Host, Roy, via text or call for approval, so we may confirm it will not conflict with any other guests checking in or housekeeping. Upon Host approval, you may pay for and confirm your late check-out via Guest Guide link provided and Stripe Connect (credit card transaction).
Neighbourhood information
The West Wing rental is located on a property with two other rental units (our Casita & The Manor), so if you're planning a family gathering or looking to hang out somewhere for a stay with friends, message the host, Roy, to inquire about availability of adjacent properties or check our accommodation availability feature on our website. The entire property (ALL 3 units) will comfortably sleep up to 16 guests!
* Smoking is not permitted in the house, including vapes, but is allowed on the porches and outdoors. We just ask that butts are disposed of properly. Thank you!
We’re conveniently located in a neighborhood across from Waterpoint Shopping Center and Marina on Lake Conroe. Here you will find several, nice dining options like Monty’s Lighthouse Cajun Bar & Grill, Akashi Asian Bistro & Sushi Bar, Fajita Jacks, CVS pharmacy, Marble Slab, Bar Lago, etc.
** PETS ALLOWED_Pet FEE applies upon check-in, unless you process payment at time of booking. Typically ONE (1) pet is allowed at this property, however, should you have more than one pet, host approval is required. ** We ask that pets are kenneled, when left unattended in our homes. And if they snuggle with you on furniture, we ask that blankets or pads are placed beneath them.
