Stay at the cozy A-frame cabin in Alta Sierra, in the midst of the Sequoia Forest, on Greenhorn Mountain, where the shade is always cool. Enjoy the space, comfort and warmth of a cozy living-room and dining area, 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Our kitchen is fully equipped with all electro-domestics, cookware and dishes, all rooms have DVD-Players, and Internet is free. From the deck, you'll BBQ and enjoy the sight of impressive redwoods, watch the undaunted deer and the graceful ballet of the squirrels. 
Roland & Ursi live in Switzerland and love to spend their free time in their cabin in the Sequoia National Forest. Our American co-host lives nearby.
At the base of the mountain is Lake Isabella, with open sandy beaches and many types of boating and water sports (kayaks are provided). The Kern River is known for river rafting and fishing. Kernville offers antique shops, clothing boutiques, museums, eateries and bars. The Shirley Meadows ski resort is located just above the cabin and is open in winter. Hiking and bike trails lead from the house directly into the mountain regions.
