Have you ever heard "Home is where the heart is"? We think they should have added cool mountain breezes, beautiful sunrises over majestic peaks, and people who are friendly and neighborly. On March 15, 1999, Patrick and Sue Eisert hiked to where the Lodge sits today and looked at the splendid view. They both knew, at that moment, that their dream was about to come true. They worked for the next eight months designing the lodge. On November 1, 1999 they broke ground. Patrick’s father spent four weeks cutting in the road, leveling the ridge and excavating the basement. This was truly an exciting time to actually see construction. December brought cool, rainy weather so we rushed to pour the foundation and the slab. On January 4th, 2000 the framing started and they were able to complete the Lodge on July 4, 2000. They worked seven days a week for seven months.

Berry Springs Lodge is a 13 room resort lodge retreat on 30+ acres intended for guests that are looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway in the Great Smoky Mountains. It's close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Berry Springs features: - 13 rooms - Bountiful breakfasts served each morning - 24 hour complimentary beverages and snacks - Nightly signature desserts - Nightly turn-down service - Free High Speed Internet (Wi-Fi) - Plush robes in each room - Concierge services - Indoor and outdoor special event facilities - Outdoor activities including walking trails, biking, and catch-and-release fishing

If you prefer to stay on property, you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful views of the Smoky Mountains from a rocking chair on the main deck or you can explore our 33 acre property. If fishing is your thing, we have two ponds stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish for catch and release. We also provide complementary fishing poles and bait for our guests. The lower pavilion has a pool table, ping pong table, and a basketball hoop. There are also picnic tables for you to enjoy lunch at. Mountain bikes are also complementary. You can ride either the mountain trail or the loop trail, depending on how adventurous you feel. Take a leisurely hike through the woods on our hiking trail and explore nature at its finest. There is a croquet field and a horseshoe pit to challenge your eye and hand coordination. Are you into cornhole now? We have boards and bags ready fro you.
