A NOTE FROM YOUR HOST. Welcome to your home away from home. Property use is restricted to the number of guests listed in your reservation with maximum occupancy not being exceeded. All guests to respect “quiet hours” from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets are allowed only if noted in your reservation. Renters must be at least 21 years old. Underage guests must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Smoking, commercial filming, tents, and charcoal grills are prohibited. Gas grills, where available, are not maintained by GCPM and are used at your own risk. Renters are liable for any property damage and associated costs.
If the residence requires a Homeowners Association application, this may require personal details. Guests are encouraged to complete and return the application form by email at time of booking and no later than 24 hours after booking. Failure to do so could drive additional cost to the guest to ensure HOA timelines are still met, or at worst could result in cancellation of the reservation. If included in your reservation, we are not responsible for the inoperability or availability of community/membership privileges or access to recreational features and on-site amenities.

On a sunny island with a nearby beach, you’ll sleep comfortably in the heart of Venice Island, FL. Just four blocks from the Gulf of Mexico, Luna Sea is located in the exclusive Golden Beach neighborhood of Venice Island, and offers guests exclusive, deeded access to a private beach (rightly named ‘Golden Beach’).
It offers a screened lanai furnished with a large dining table that seats 6 and comfortable furniture. Inside, the property has a large living room with high ceilings, and cooling Terrazzo tile underfoot. The living room provides plenty of seating and entertainment opportunities including a large flat screen TV with streaming service capability, and free high-speed internet. The large, open, eat-in kitchen with a dining table that seats 6 has all you will need to enjoy anything from a simple snack to a gourmet meal. On the same floor, two spacious bedrooms offers queen-size beds, fans, nightstands with reading lamps, and flat screen TVs. One larger bedroom offers a comfortable queen-sized pullout sofa bed and a workspace with desk. Nearby, the full bath with its shower/tub combo is well supplied with plenty of fresh, fluffy towels. The property has an additional half bath as well. There’s even a laundry area with a washer and dryer so you can keep those swimsuits dry! The property also boasts a spacious, partially fenced yard, and good dogs are most welcome to vacation here too.
Luna Sea is the left side of the Duplex pictured above. Professionally managed by Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals, for 2-family vacations or larger family gatherings, it can be booked in conjunction with Harbor Haven (the right side of the duplex), so that larger groups can vacation together while enjoying their own private space.
Parking at Golden Beach, is for resident only. There is street parking right by the entrance for the beach.

Enjoy both sides of Florida life in Venice - the picture-postcard beach vacation with gorgeous sunsets and a warm sense of genuine community in the nearby town. Walk just 8 blocks toward the charming town of Venice to find coffee shops, seafood restaurants, and great window shopping. Both Venice Beach and the famous Venice landmark Sharky’s on the Pier are both within walking or biking distance.
This home is in the exclusive Golden Beach neighborhood of Venice Island, which is only a 0.5-mile walk or bike ride to the deeded beach access that is limited only to neighborhood residents and guests. This allows guests to use the private beach access which includes an outdoor shower, picnic tables, and a gazebo. (Parking is limited to residents but very close on-street parking is available for guests.) Having a private beach is a wonderful experience. No crowds, no noise- just beautiful views, lots of space, and a chance to enjoy the peaceful blue water of the Gulf without any disturbances. For those who love hunting for shark’s teeth, Venice beaches are the perfect place to find these amazing fossils, either right on the beach or during a scuba-diving adventure. Downtown Venice, with its charming shops, restaurants, and parks, is located only 0.8-miles from the home. You can stroll the promenade or enjoy dinner at one of Venice’s many celebrated restaurants. Harbor Haven is also only approximately 1 mile from Brohard Paw Park, one of very few beaches in the greater Sarasota area that allows dogs to enjoy the surf and sand as well. Also, Both Venice Beach and the famous Venice landmark Sharky’s on the Pier are both within walking or biking distance.
