Onepu Moana (sandy sea) holiday home is one of the largest and most beautifully decor'd houses in the Opononi/Omapere/Pakanae area, brilliantly set up for groups of couples, and extended families, with it's five gorgeous Queen/Double bedrooms, plus 6-berth Bunk Room (and downstairs Lounge sofa-bed. The holiday home has two x Kitchen-Lounge-Dining fully equipped with dishwashers, fridges, microwaves & gas hobs, plus there is a spa-pool patio terrace, and a large deck with extensive uninterrupted water views of the stunning Hokianga.

We work hard to ensure this property remains gorgeous and fully enjoyable for all our future guests, so we ask all visitors treat this lovely holiday home with care and respect. Please do not book this property, If it does not bother you to mark a few walls, stain some of bed linen, chip a few plates, leave the BBQ covered in grease, blacken a couple of fry-pans, add bubble-bath to the spa-pool, or suchlike, Thank you.

> Visiting Tane Mahutu (NZ's largest kauri tree in the nearby Waipoua Forest ... doing an evening tour with a local Maori guide is particularly special
> Visiting MANEA: Footprints of Kupe - a wonderful attraction in Opononi (opens late 2020)
> Surfing the Sand-dunes (the Hokianga Express water-taxi provides free boogie boards)
> Hiring jet-skis, SUPs or kayaks with Awesome Adventures
> Fishing (from the local wharf, to deep-sea fishing crossing the sandbar out to the Tasman Sea)
> LOADS of local walks and cycling tracks
> Riding the car-ferry from Rawene (NZ's 2nd oldest European town) across to the Northern Hokianga (a crossing that is part of the Twin Coast Discovery Route) to visit the Art Galleries at the tiny town of Kohukohu
