This is a garden-courtyard-style B&B, where guests can immerse themselves in the daily life of local residents. The gardens, courtyards, and decks are all open to guests. If you like, the hosts are also willing to share the proceeds of their labor with you.
The host, David, is from China. He has a blend of cultures from the north, south, and north. He is humorous and has many topics to talk to you about if you like, such as music, travel, skiing, tennis, etc.
The golf course and yacht club are nearby, Deer park is next door, the lakeside trail is only a 5-minute walk, the Remarkable ski resort is 28 minutes, the Cornet peak ski resort is 35 minutes, and the Queenstown Airport is only a 15-minute drive. The famous towns of Glenorchy, Arrowtown and Wanaka are also within an hour's drive.
