Welcome to Koduko Sanctuary! This is the perfect remote villa to enjoy pristine private beaches, a serene jungle, and no other tourists for miles. We spent years building this place and are in love with how the house has developed. We truly hope you have an incredible time during your stay with us. We have built this house in a sustainable way and the house is 100% off grid. The house took over 5 years to complete with the challenges of the dirt road access and being in a remote location. We use a hybrid solar system to generate our electricity, and all of our water is collected by rainwater. Our goal was to build a sustainable home in a remote area that allows peace and tranquility in a stunning beach environment.
My name is Charlie and I have been living in Borneo for 18 years. I am an avid wildlife photography and run a travel company. Building a villa on this land was always a dream for me, and now to be able to share it with other travelers is more than I could ever have hoped for.
The villa is located on a beautiful remote coastline, far away from civilisation. The beaches run into coast forest, makeing it the perfect nature getaway. There are no restaurants or stores close to the villa, and this is why our driver takes you for grocery shopping before going to the villa. The beaches available are incredible white sand beaches with crystal clear water.
