Located in the quaint village of Xaghra and situated in a blessed neighborhood the structure offers to the guests the opportunity to spend days with plenty of tranquillity, serenity and peacefulness ideal for a holiday accommodation all year round. It's only 10 minutes walk away from the main square with a moltitude of quality restaurants, cafes, bars and other amenities. Entrance to the farmhouse is through the fully equipped pool area with sunbeds and umbrella which leads to the lounge/living room. A short stone staircase takes you to the first floor where the three bedrooms are located. From the living room there is also access to the basement where is located a pool table available for guests. Ad Hoc B&B is perfect for couples, honeymooners and for all the sunbath lovers. It's the ideal place to unwind.
Hi there... I am Italian and I have been living in Gozo for the past eight years. I have made the decision to settle permanently in this wonderful island surrounded by crystal clear water and spectacular and colourful countryside after living long time in England. I was living a frenetic life in the gaming industry before moving here full time... it was the right time to take a deep breathe of oxygen and to bring fresh sea air into my life ! I love travelling and meet new people so that's why I started this job. I also enjoy swimming, snorkelling, trekking and spending time out... simply making the best of what I have ! I speak Italian, mother tongue, and English but no worries, I will use my hands if you speak none of them ! Hope to be meeting you all soon !
Xaghra rises on a hill located in the nort-east side of the island and it’s one of the earliest inhabited village of Gozo. The main attraction of the island is the archeologic site of Gigantia (Ggantija in local language) which is Unesco world heritage site. Just off the archeologic site there is Tà Kola windmill actually still in working condition. The hotspot of Xaghra is the main square in front of the church dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. It’s also known among locals as “ Il-Vitoria” (the Victory) so called to celebrate of the Knights of St. John over Islam. Here you can find good quality restaurants and bars and other amenities. From the square on the road who leads to Marsalforn you can reach the Calypso Cave where the legend says that Ulysses bewitched by the Nymph spent seven idle years.
