Situated in the heart of The Old Town in a quiet location overlooking Sveti Kliment Square, Church & Winery but only a minute or two from the main square with it's large choice of shops, bars and restaurants. From the apartment balcony are views of the lake & mountains, the harbour is a few minutes walk away where a selection of boat trips are available daily at a reasonable cost. The property is very close to many of the cultural attractions in Ohrid, House Robev, Papermaking Museum, Kaneo beach, St Sophia church, early Christian Basilica, Roman amphitheatre to name but a few. The apartment has recently undergone significant refurbishment & is finished to a high standard with good quality pictures & equipment.

I moved here to Ohrid in October 2018 from the U.K. as, a few years ago, I fell in love with Macedonia & especially it's people, who are unfailingly kind, generous & helpful. My main interest - apart from reading - is cooking & I share that interest with a local friend, Elisabeta. She was a professional baker and we are proposing to start a series of cookery classes in the main kitchen specialising in traditional Macedonian dishes, many of which originate in Ohrid itself.
