About this property

Located in the centre of Moulay Idriss, this guesthouse offers a rooftop terrace with views of the surrounding mountains and the Roman ruins of Volubilis, located 5 km away. Excursions and cooking lessons can be organised by the guesthouse. Guest rooms at Dar Zerhoune have a traditional Moroccan décor and offer a view of the interior courtyard. Each room has an en suite bathroom equipped with a shower and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast is served daily at the guesthouse and includes Moroccan pancakes with honey and couscous bread. I am Rose, from New Zealand, and UK, and the owner of Dar Zerhoune. I am also a process engineer, a reiki master and teacher and I love travelling, cooking, baking and exploring new places and things preferably off the tourist path.

Dar Zerhoune is your home from home where we share our local knowledge and experiences, provide western comforts for you to relax and enjoy (duvets, electric blankets in winter); home cooked meals; a terrace you won't want to leave.

Neighbourhood information

Moulay Idriss caters for all travellers. You can relax, observe traditional Morocco, explore Volubilis (roman ruins), swim in the roman baths, walk/hike mountains and forest, experience local life at the hammam, markets and ovens, enjoy festivals.
