Este establecimiento está situado a orillas de la laguna de Curlandia, en Nida, a unos 20 minutos a pie de la playa. Prie Mariu ofrece una ubicación muy tranquila entre el bosque de pinos y la laguna, lejos de todo tipo de tráfico. Las amplias habitaciones están amuebladas con mucha madera natural y ofrecen todas las comodidades. La mayoría de las habitaciones tienen hermosas vistas a la laguna. Algunas también tienen balcón. Las habitaciones están distribuidas en 3 edificios. El Museo Thomas Mann, que conserva la antigua residencia de verano del famoso autor, y el Museo del Ámbar están cerca del Prie Mariu. El hermoso paisaje natural del Spit de Curlandia es ideal para practicar senderismo y ciclismo. La Duna Alta es la segunda duna más alta de Europa.
