Anuradhapura is the first capital of Sri Lanka. Built almost 2,500 years ago, the engineering marvels and religious monuments stand tall even today. People of Anuradhapura are friendly, hospitable and very caring. They may not be so fluent in English but their smiles will speak to your heart.
