Biwako Ryokusuitei offers Japanese-style/Western rooms with Lake Biwako views, a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. Public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths are available for all guests, and some rooms come with a private balcony with an open-air bath. A free shuttle is available from JR Ogoto Onsen Train Station, which is a 5-minute drive away and a 20-minute train ride to Kyoto Station. The air-conditioned rooms come with Japanese Yukata robes, a fridge and a seating area with low tables and cushions. Guests can choose to stay in rooms with Western-style beds or in rooms with Japanese futon bedding and tatami (woven-straw) floors. Guests can watch international programmes on a flat-screen TV (BBC World, Phoenix InfoNews Channel, TVBS and YTN). The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer and slippers. Guests can sing their favorite tunes at the karaoke rooms and purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop. Massages can be requested for an extra cost and you can take walks in the on-site garden. Traditional multi-course meals featuring Omi beef are served for dinner and a buffet breakfast. All meals are served at the restaurant. Ryokusuitei Biwako is a 30-minute drive from Miidera Temple and a 30-minute drive from Enryaku-ji Temple. Lake Biwako is just steps away.

The formal Japanese dinner from this palace is very popular. The master chef who trained himself for a long time at a Japanese-style restaurant in Kyoto cooks it politely. The Omi beef which is a local brand cow is very soft and is good Japanese Cattle. It's offered for beef and vegetables cooked in broth as one piece of a dish at this palace. Please enjoy by all means. Japan which needs a dish and I which are linchpins were being told by mail after reservations was made when it was a stay for several days, if I come, I'll change the reservation.
