Property information

The Traubenhof, refreshing fusion of countryside, modernity and a sense of quality, lies on a quet, gentle sunny elevation at the South Tyrolean Wine Route in the heart of the vineyards Santl & Leiten with inspiring view over Adige valley. The property is an ideal base for heading out on a variety of day trips during the warmer months - the Dolomites, Trient, Bolzano, Verona, Lake Caldaro and Lake Garda are just waiting for you to visit. You can also enjoy a varied meta-holiday here in winter - get a piste pass or sample the region's culture, shopping and day trips. Shops in the village center can be reached on foot in 3 minutes. Restaurant Zum Hirschen, on foot in 3 minutes Trento and Bolzano at 30km, Caldaro lake at 12km, Dolomites 40minutes. Our apartments are equipped with Nespresso, filter and moka coffee machines.

Neighbourhood information

In the picturesque village of Margreid, at the foot of the hiking paradise between Fennberg, mount Roen and the Trudner Horn Nature Park, the guest experiences a countryside flair and nature, with a range of sports and leisure options. Definitely worth a walk through the pretty village. The location in the deep south of South Tyrol in combination to the proximity to the linguistic border have brought to Margreid southern and alpine flair both clearly present in a uniquely stimulating fusion. Gothic buildings, noble residences and hidden courtyards characterize the village along with winding lanes and beautiful old farmhouses. Undoubtedly one of Magré's main attractions is the probably oldest vine in Europe, which has grown and flourished in the alley of the Counts since the beginning of the 16th century - and which is still bearing fruit nowadays.
