El Portacavana es un pequeño y encantador hotel de 1 estrella situado en el centro histórico de Trieste, a solo 200 metros de la Piazza Unità d'Italia, y ofrece tarifas asequibles. El establecimiento se encuentra en el distrito de Città Vecchia (Ciudad Vieja) y presenta un diseño único y un estilo Art Nouveau. Cuenta con muebles pintados a mano y techos con vigas de madera a la vista. Nuestras habitaciones están ubicadas en dos plantas, una en la primera y otra en la tercera. No tenemos ascensor ni aire acondicionado, y cada habitación tiene su propio hervidor de agua, set de té, secador de pelo, TV, ventilador y sombrilla. El Hotel Portacavana se encuentra a poca distancia a pie de muchos lugares de interés histórico de la ciudad. Camine hasta Corso Italia, el barrio judío y el castillo de San Giusto. El paseo marítimo está a solo 150 metros. El amable personal le ayudará con información turística y le recomendará restaurantes cercanos.
