Quiet and private mountain residence renovated in stone and larch wood surrounded by pastures, woods and mountains offering a family welcome within a very small alpine village nestled in the mountains of the Gran San Bernardo Valley at 1760 meters above sea level, in Valle d'Aosta. The bedrooms of the B&B are large and comfortable, all with a non-divisible double bed and private bathroom with shower. NO TV and NO WIFI. We are very sorry but due to the characteristics of our rooms it is not possible to accommodate animals, even small ones. FOR HYGIENIC-HEALTH REASONS IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO EAT IN THE ROOMS. BATH AND BED LINEN IS CHANGED ONCE A WEEK. ANY INTERMEDIATE CHANGES WILL HAVE A COST OF EURO 30.00 FOR THE BED, EURO 15.00 PER HEAD FOR TOWELS. There are excellent typical restaurants in the area, the list of which you will find in your room. Check-in from 4pm to 6pm. Check-out by 10:00 am. Breakfast at 8.30am only for the B&B. This service is not available in the accommodations. ADDITIONAL COSTS: MUNICIPAL TOURIST TAX TO BE PAID ON THE SPOT IN CASH. PARKING SPACE 10,00 EURO/DAY/CAR. Distance from Courmayeur 70 km. I have been living for 17 years in this small village, a fraction of a mountain village, located at 1760 meters above sea level in the Gran San Bernardo Valley in the Aosta Valley. By chance, a few years ago during a trip, we discovered the few houses in this village which is part of the Municipality of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses and we fell in love with them. A little at a time we bought them and slowly refurbished them. Then, we stopped working in Aosta and came to live here. I love the mountains and I like living there. I love walking through the woods, feeling their scents, perceiving their voices. And we live here, closer to the stars
The village is located in the middle of the steep and green pastures of the high Valley of the Grand San Bernardo at 1760 meters above sea level in the municipality of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses in the Aosta Valley. The building that houses the B&B is a renovated house in stone and larch wood. Come with light luggage and comfortable, warm mountain clothing. Thuillettaz is the ideal stop along the Alta Via N.1 and the Tour des Combins. Thuillettaz can be reached from Aosta in just 30 minutes by car. The Grand San Bernardo Pass is only 13 km away, open only in summer. Just 5 minutes by car from the entrance to the Gran San Bernardo Tunnel.
