The Cliffe at the Quay is a small townhouse where Victorian detailing meets the finest of contemporary comforts. Overlooking the River Eske, this boutique accommodation is the perfect base for your getaway and welcomes guests all year round. A unique setting, The Cliffe at the Quay comprises of three modern suites. This historic building was reimagined in 2024 by local, award-winning firm McCabe Architects. Externally, the character of the Victorian style house has been fully restored to its former glory with meticulous detail evident in its red brick façade and beautiful iron and timberwork embellishment. Internally, modern elegance and comforts await every guest. An inspired blend of the classic and the contemporary, The Cliffe at the Quay offers an opportunity to retreat, rest and renew in a five-star environment. Perched above Donegal Bay, the character and history of this lovely house inspired the rebirth of a building that enjoys a unique quayside experience. For breakfast and evening dining, you are just a stone’s throw from the many culinary delights and celebrated bars and cafés of the historic town of Donegal.
