This family run guest house is located in fashionable Rathgar, less than 3 km from St Stephen’s Green in the city centre. Benefit from easy access to the city centre, the M50, Tallaght and Leopardstown. Complimentary milk, cereals, fruit, and bread are available in the upstairs kitchenette everyday. There are a selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance of St. Aiden's Guesthouse. The area has good public transport, including bus links to the airport.

There are over 30 restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Indian, French, Nepalese, Syrian, Japanese, Thai, Steak, Irish etc. Also 4 pubs with good food. Nearest park is Palmerston (10 to 15 minutes walk) with play area for younger kids. Bushy Park for all ages (15 minute walk). Tennis courts, Boules, skateboard course, playground, and a fair on Saturdays. Also Dodder Park (15 minutes) with river fishing (5 Euro license). Numerous busses to city (get a Leap card if staying a few days). Busses take approximately 15 minutes to the City Centre. The 16 bus is also nearby and serves the Airport. This is a local service so can take 90 minutes at peak times but is very cheap (circa 4 Euro one way) Don't forget that as well as fridges in the rooms, we have a small kitchen for guest use and that Aldi, Lidl, Tesco Xtra and Supervalu are all within walking distance. Rathgar is an upmarket area with coffee shops, delis, bakeries, 2 book shops ( yes 2, 1 in Rathgar and 1 in nearby Terenure). pubs/café bars, as well as the usual village facilities (hairdressers, dry cleaners, pharmacies, etc.) Generally very safe and well lit at night.
