Company info

Bernadette, that's me. I have been looking after guests now for over 30 years. Married to John we have 4 children and now have 10 beautiful grandchildren. Eventhough very busy with guests and family I enjoy, walking, dancing and the odd weekend away. I really love my bed and breakfast business, I have met some wonderful people over the years from all over the world. Shared lots of stories, some serious and some not so serious. I always strive to give good value and make everybody feel welcome in my home, so that they leave satisfied and happy with their stay here at Rocksberry B&B in Castlebar.

Property info

On a 20 acre working farm. Views from here includes Cattle, Sheep and surrounding land and hills. Close to Castlebar but at the same time in a very peaceful setting. Only one hour by car from, Achill, Galway, Situated on The Wild Atlantic Way, now extremely popular with all visitors to Ireland. Ideally situated for Walkers, Mountain climbers, Anglers, Cycling, as we are a very short distance from the walking or cycling facility known as the greenaway. This will bring you all the way from Castlebar to Achill Island. A Brilliant day out for all the family. Bicycle hire is available locally. Rocksberry B& B have just won The Irish Hospitality Award 2017. The best in the West and The overall Best B&B Hospitality Award in Ireland 2017.

Neighborhood info

Our neighbourhood is quite peaceful, situated close to our kind neighbours but at the same time quite private. Set in a farming neighbourhood. (In the WEST OF IRELAND) 2 miles from Castlebar town and 8 miles from the ever popular Westport town.
