I, your host, am passionate about Kerry and our area. I have successfully completed a Tour guiding course and I would be delighted to share my knowledge of the area with guests. We live a few hundred yards away and where possible we will be happy to assist in anyway possible to make your stay a great experience.

Rural farm setting a quarter of a mile away from the main road on a cul de sac. Unwind and connect with nature while exploring the many riverbank, hill and quiet country road walks . Great location for wildlife enthusiasts with a wealth of birdlife, animal and plants. There are archaeological sites, marked looped walks, fishing, golf and much more within the vicinity. Enjoy views of the McGillicuddy Reeks (including Ireland's highest peak, Carrantuohill) and the Slieve Mish Mountains. While the location is rural, it is within easy reach of local towns/villages, where you can sample the restaurants and local pubs. Tralee is 20 mins drive, Killarney National Park is 20 mins, Dingle is 40,mins, Ring of Kerry is 15 mins, Inch Beach is 15 mins, Castlemaine Village is 5 mins drive and Boolteens Village 3 mins. Essentially you are at the heart of the Kingdom of Kerry in Maryfields. The nearest Airport and Train Station are 15 mins drive in Farranfore. There is a public bus service available in Castlemaine 2 miles away. There are some local taxis and if free the host may be able to drop you to the local villages where you will find some pubs and restaurants.
