The property is a very large Victorian house in the very center of the elegant South side of Dublin City. The house was built in 1865 and there are thirteen rooms, including Six Bedrooms and Five Bathrooms. Three rooms are given over to short term lets. Each room has its own private and exclusive bathroom. Kitchen and Garden are shared. The house is a mere five minutes from Stephen's Green, Ten Minutes from Trinity College, two Minutes from an Airport Express Bus Stop. Walking distance to everything of interest. Staggering distance from some of the best pubs in the city. Ideal for a weekend or a few days. The house is on three levels, there is one room on each level reserved for guests.
The host is a genial, educated, retired individual, with an enormous house in the center of a busy European capital. I have been hosting, on and off, for six years, I find it interesting and with about the right amount of effort for someone who likes golf.
The house is in the best neighborhood in town, quite, mature, central, urbane, elegant old buildings of great character, and sophisticated. The area of Portobello is considered to be the very centre of the South City Centre. You could not ask for a better location, absolutely everything you came to Dublin to see is literally on your doorstep.
