Foxhollow House is just a 10-minute walk from the charming village of Blarney with its wonderful range of shops, restaurants and friendly pubs. We have a wealth of suburb outdoor activities on our doorstep and are the ideal base for exploring Cork’s breath-taking landscapes, beaches, history and famous attractions such as Blarney Castle, Cork City Gaol, Fota Wildlife Park and the south of Ireland’s hidden gems.
Set 15 minutes walk from Blarney Village, in a quite a area we are close to all local amenities. Cork City is just 15 minutes drive away and we have a regular local bus service that is just 10 minutes walk from our house. Cobh or Kinsale, both lovely places to visit are just 40 minutes drive. Some places of interest include: Spike Island Cobh Cathedral Midleton Distillery Marina Market (great food trucks) Kinsale has amazing restaurants and is stunning on a sunny day or evening. Fota Wildlife Park and Gardens Some lovely places to eat include: Blarney Muskerry Arms Blarney Castle Hotel (Jonnies Bar) Christys Bar (Blarney Woolllen Mills) The Anglers Rest (10 minutes drive from Blarney) Cork City: Food: Market Lane Isaacs Restaurant Son of Bun The Oliver Plunkett Electric (Bar and Restaurant) Music Johnnies Bar and The Muskerry Arms have must most Thursday to Sundays If you are looking for the best Trad Music in Cork, then Sin E in Coburg Street in the city is amazing.
