Ardmore House is set on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way amid rugged landscape. Situated 5km west of Clifden town, on the Lower Sky Road it is a small holding stretching from the upper Sky Road to the lower Sky Road and on out to the cliffs of the Atlantic Ocean. Here we have made a walkway and picnic area for our guests. The spectacular views from the cliffs of Clifden Bay and the Atlantic Ocean are some of the best you’ll find in the country. In the bedrooms superking beds a seating area 22 inch led TVs tea coffee making facilities hair dryers free Wi-Fi some bathrooms have power shower. There is a lounge for guests to meet up and relax. For breakfast all produce is sourced locally our bacon sausage black and white pudding are from our local award winning craft butcher, our Atlantic salmon is smoked in Connemara all served with homemade bread. There is also a celection of cereals and yoghurt and fruit jucies and a choice of tea coffe hot chocolate or herbal teas. There is a fridge and microwave available for guest to use. Parking is free and a safe place for bikes to be stored.
Connemara National Park 14km Kylemore Abbey 16km Derrigimlagh Bog where the Marconi and Alcock and Brown site is 6km Inishboffin island 11km to Cleggan for the ferry. Ballynahinch greenway for walking and cycling 11km. Beaches nearby and fishing locally. Clifden is a lively town with lots of bars restaurants and gift shops.
