Rumah Elfi consists of a two-story main house with three bedrooms, each equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor and are separated by an open living and dining area with a table and chairs. Additional seating areas are available in front of each bedroom. The third bedroom is on the upper floor and features a spacious veranda. A large, well-maintained garden surrounds the L-shaped swimming pool (8x3 meters with a 2x3 meter splash area), perfect for relaxing on the pool deck with loungers. At the end of the garden, there is a separate small house with a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven. Large windows offer a clear view of the garden and pool. We welcome you with a small package of coffee, tea, sugar, and creamer to get you started until your first supermarket visit. Every day, the so-called “offerings” are brought to Rumah Elfi. Please allow the ladies entry – it is essential for maintaining the positive atmosphere of the place. Our pool attendant, Kadek, comes twice a week to keep the pool in top condition. Please also allow him access so that the pool remains as beautiful as it was upon your arrival. Additionally, two friendly cats, Susi and Nelly, may occasionally visit. They adore our guests. The nearby village of Lodtunduh is renowned for its artistic heritage and tranquil atmosphere, offering you a glimpse into traditional Balinese life. You can visit local art galleries and workshops, participate in cultural ceremonies, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll through the rice fields and rural landscapes. Nestled alongside the rice fields, it’s perfect for a relaxing morning walk, where you can meet locals and rice farmers while soaking in the picturesque views of Mount Agung and Mount Batur. Just a short drive away, the vibrant town of Ubud awaits, offering numerous attractions like the Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, and the bustling Ubud Market, to name just a few. The area is also famous for its wellness options, including many yoga studios, spas, and holistic centers for relaxation and rejuvenation. Rumah Elfi is centrally located for various excursions – Ubud is only about 10 to 15 minutes away by scooter, the east coast (e.g., Sanur) around half an hour, and the west coast (e.g., Seminyak) about 45 minutes, depending on Bali’s traffic. We recommend renting a scooter – but if that’s not your preference, you can easily rely on services like Gojek or Grab, which not only offer convenient transport but also deliver a wide range of meals right to your door. We’re more than happy to assist you with scooter rental and have it delivered to Rumah Elfi, complete with helmets and a smartphone holder.
