Cayos Cochinos is the Jewel of Honduras. Our beach house is located within a national marine park, offering beautiful nature, calm turquoise waters and vibrant coral reefs. Cayos cochinos is an undeveloped island group With no public transportation to the island, however we can help arrange transport to and from the island for a fee depending on number of people and from the location departing from. Our beach house is simply furnished yet very comfortable with a fully furnished kitchen for cooking your meals and a small refrigerator.

The beach house is an artistically designed wooden house built in 2014 by a retired professor of permaculture. Beautifully landscaped with many fruit and ornamental trees and plants on the property. The manager is conveniently located on the next beach over and can help you with any needs that may arrise. Including boat tours and boat transfer to a couple of simple outlying resturants.

Our property is very private, with only 1 other house on the beach which is part time occupied by a caretaker. Cayos is a very safe place. There are no roads on the island, but there, are some hiking trails accessible from our beach. The small population of about 35 people on Cayos Major generally get around by boat. There is good safe swimming off our sandy beach with coral reefs accessible off the points. We have some used snorkeling equipment available and a small inflatable kayak. Kayaks and stand up paddle boards can be rented on the island.
