The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region: The first phase of the regulation will be implemented starting from April 22, 2024. The Salvation Army Booth Lodge will no longer provide complimentary disposable plastic toiletries and bottled water in guest rooms. In 2025, the Salvation Army Booth Lodge does not fall under the coverage of the Hotel Accommodation Tax (HAT) at a rate of 3% as per the government ruling. Therefore, we are pleased to inform you that our hotel does not need to levy taxes on guests at this stage.
