A contemporary apartment in Ilfracombe, North Devon Nestling in an idyllic woodland valley within the North Devon Coast Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. After an exhilarating day of trekking the coastal path or enjoying the spectacular local beaches, hang up your coats, kick off your shoes and take one last look around at the spectacular woodland scenery, before heading inside for a night of relaxation or to Ilfracombe town and harbour to explore the great range of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment.
I live in the house adjoining the apartment. I’m in and out and sometimes away but it’s always nice to meet guests and have a chat if we bump into each other.
The property is positioned in a quiet wooded valley between Ilfracombe and Lee. Seven miles from Woolacombe and the North Devon coastal beaches. It takes us around 15 minutes to walk into Ilfracombe (a little longer returning as it’s uphill most the way!) A taxi is always an option if you’re heading into town in the evening for a meal and or a drink. To visit any of the local beaches a car or van is the best way to travel. There are bus services but not very frequently in some places.
