El establecimiento fue un antiguo palacio de justicia que aún conserva muchos de sus bellos elementos originales, como los suelos de pizarra de Delabole de la planta baja y el poyo exterior para montar. El Trehellas se encuentra cerca del proyecto Edén, los jardines perdidos de Heligan, Lanhydrock, Padstow, Rock y Wadebridge, así como de otras hermosas ciudades y rincones de Cornualles.
