About this property
Originally built in 1835, The Croft Hotel is situated in the historic village of Croft-on-Tees, overlooking the River Tees. Free parking and free WiFi are available at the hotel. The hotel combines period features with modern décor. Each room has an en suite bathroom, a work desk, TV, hairdryer as well as tea/coffee making facilities and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Some rooms have beautiful views of Croft Bridge and St Peter's Church, supposedly where Lewis Carroll was inspired to write Alice in Wonderland. Despite its quiet location, The Croft Hotel is only 8 minutes’ drive from the centre of Darlington, 7 minutes from the A1 and 15 minutes from Teesside International Airport. Popular nearby attractions include Croft Circuit, which is only a 6-minute drive away. Darlington Railway Museum is 5 miles away, while Richmond Castle is 10.6 miles away from The Croft Hotel.
