    Lovely location - so convenient for the train, but so quiet, and a beautiful view of the river. The room was properly self-catering, which was a real bonus, and the breakfast was great.

After a day of seaside escapades you can retreat to our sunny riverside terraces or the restaurant and bar for hearty British classics. Complete your experience with a glass of carefully selected wine to compliment your palette. Whenever you are contemplating a romantic getaway or quick escape let the Steam Packet be your home away from home in Littlehampton. All rooms are equipped with en-suite and a kitchenette with induction hob and oven, so you can make a simple cup of tea, or a meal if you wish. Each room has free wi-fi, LED SMART TV, fridge, hairdryer, fan, and Bluetooth speaker for your entertainment. We welcome you into this warm and comfortable environment The Steam Packet is more than just accommodation it's a haven for travellers seeking tranquility and adventure.
Travel is our passion whether around UK or abroad as we explore different cultures and foods. Our free time activities are built into the the environment in which we work and live. We enjoy creating the pub garden, and cooking for guests in the kitchen. When not providing for the business you may find us on our bicycles and heading for the beach for a sunny dip in the sea. We enjoy all forms of music, but particularly the Live Music events we provide at the pub on Sundays. We can be found chatting and laughing with customers over a glass of wine. Our experience, sensitivity, and creativity helps us to build positive relations with our customers and guests. Our motto is 'Life is a one time offer, so use it well'.
The Steam Packet is located 70metres from Littlehampton's train station, and Bus Stops are close by to the accommodation. There are buses going West to Arundel, Chichester, Bognor Regis, Portsmouth, Goodwood racecourse, and Revival and Speed Festivals, as well as the Witterings beaches and the famous Tangmere Aviation Museum. Trains connect to Gatwick, Brighton, and Southampton, Littlehampton has its own museum, as well as Marine Park Gardens, Mewsbrook Park, Brookfield Park, the Windmill Theatre, the Golf Club, mini Golf, and beautiful cycle rides along the beach promenade all the way to Rustington and beyond. You have wonderful opportunities for activities at the Wave Leisure Centre, or wind-surfing and the Beach. Worth putting into your itinerary is a trip to Arundel to see the historic town and Castle or the Contemporary Art Gallery, There are the Pallant House and Otter art galleries in Chichester, the Chichester Theatre, and the Amberley Transport Museum. There are long walks along the beaches to Climping and Bognor Regis in one direction, or along the East Beach to Rustington if it's a simple stroll along the beach you are looking for.
