Situated at the top of Cheadle high street, The Manor Guesthouse is less than 15 minutes' drive from Alton Towers, featuring modern rooms with free Wi-Fi. All rooms have their own shower room and guests can enjoy tea/coffee making facilities, and flat-screen TVs.

We are very fortunate to welcome people from far and wide. We love sharing their experiences and chatting in our lovely garden. Whilst we are close to Alton Towers not all our guests are destined there by any means. We have for example many people from over seas tracing their ancestors. On race days at Uttoxeter we are a favourite for race goers. We also host weddings and have guests staying attending weddings locally. No matter who, we enjoy welcoming them and do our best to make them feel at home.

We arrived in early 2023 and have enjoyed welcoming guests ever since. Our guest house is ideally situated for those visiting Alton Towers, The Potteries and Uttoxeter races. We combine our very personal touch with the freshest food and relaxed service. In summer our lovely garden is a joy. You could be anywhere.

Cheadle is a town of some 14000 inhabitants. It is a safe environment where you can walk out late. Eating out has limited choices within walking distance. We have a list that we provide to guests upon request. By car we can propose a number of options within ten minutes drive. There are also two chippies. We love the goldfish bowl for great value. In the town we have Morrisons and Asda as well Boots and B&M Bargains. Anyone into architecture and churches should visit Pugin's gem, St Giles. There are some spectacular walks and drives close by and we are just an hour from Chatsworth House. Closest airport is East Midlands. We have a whole list of attractions in Cheadle and the surrounding areas at reception.

On Saturday mornings only, a hot tasty breakfast will be provided off-site just a 3-minute walk from The Manor Cheadle rather than in the hotel. This is a temporary arrangement until further notice.

For bookings of 3 or more rooms, we ask a 50% non refundable deposit.

If cancelled more than 7 days prior to arrival no further charges will be made.

For individual bookings of three or more nights a 50% non refundable deposit will be taken on booking. If cancelled 7 or more days before arrival no further charges apply.

The guesthouse is closed between 10.30hrs and 16.00hrs when check in opens. Check in is open until 21.00hrs. If you require a later check in please contact us no earlier than 3 days before arrival.

All rooms are non smoking. If guests arrive with a higher number of people that the booked facility can accommodate, the Manor reserves the right to refuse to accommodate the extra people or the whole party.

Please note that all bookings that are due to stay on and between the 24th and 26th of December and the 31st of December to the 2nd of January will be room only. There will be limited staff to allow our staff to enjoy time with their families over the festive period. There will be no breakfast provision available.
