The Howard Arms is a traditional coaching house full of character and history, we as a family took over the pub in December 2018. Thwaites Brewery own the pub and invested in a refurbishment in January 2019. We aim to offer a friendly welcoming homely atmosphere with a touch of class. Our resident dogs Sam & Paris will welcome you and your furry friends

Neighbourhood information

Brampton Town is a small market town full of character and history, from Hadrians Wall to Stevensons Rockets last known working place. Walks & cycle routes run through the town and along the wall from the coast lines in the west across to the East. Bonnie Prince Charlie, Charles Dickens and many others have stayed in the area. Lanercost Priory is located a short distance from the centre of Brampton and the fantastic local church of St Martins.
