Neighbourhood information

You'll find yourself surrounded by imposing 17th- and 18th-century mansions, many of which are three stories high, in the conservation community of Winster, located in the White Peak section of the Peak District National Park. There are numerous alleyways known as "ginnels" that connect the three main streets - Main, East, and West - and are worth investigating. Morris dancers, pancake races on Shrove Tuesday, Wakes celebrations in June, and the Secret Gardens of Winster event in July are just a few of the events that make Winster famous.
