Surrounded by 8.5 acres of beautiful grounds, The Boars Head Hotel offers an à la carte restaurant, and a traditional bar area. A 20-minute drive from Ashbourne, it has free Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. Rooms are simply designed with traditional wooden furnishings. Each has its own bathroom, and features a TV with satellite channels, a seating area, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Food at The Boars Head is homemade, using from fresh local ingredients. There is a daily specials board, and a wide selection of drinks are on offer in the bar. A full English breakfast is provided each morning. Alton Towers Theme Park is a 20-minute drive away, and the centre of Derby is 20 miles from the building.
