Weybridge is a calm, quite place. The Thames Path is a beautiful and has leafy lanes and beautiful woodlands. There is a wonderful, circular route along the Wey Navigational Canal which boasts birds and wildlife galore. Weybridge and the surrounding towns offer an extensive range of leisure pursuits including river walks and bike rides along the towpaths of the Thames and the Wey. The quiet, little commuter town of Weybridge is ideal for those who want to stay within close reach of London, as well as both Heathrow and Gatwick airports Weybridge town centre has a range of both high street chains and individual boutiques, including a Waitrose supermarket, and an excellent mix of restaurants and gastro pubs including The Giggling Squid, Prezzo, The Ship Hotel, The Minnow and The Queens Head. Less than half a mile away from Ridgewood, Weybridge Station offers a regular service to London Waterloo (34 minutes at peak times). The A3, M25 and M3 are within a few minutes' drive, while Heathrow airport is 16 miles away and Gatwick airport is 32 miles.
