A real country cottage away from the crowds and part of a restored farm. The setting is rural yet only 15 minutes drive to Troon, Ayr and Prestwick. Great walks from the cottage around our 2000 acre estate or miles of white sandy beaches within 20 minutes drive. The cottage has parking immediately outside so easy for unpacking and packing. There is a small fenced and paved garden so quite safe for dogs. Inside, you'll find a comfortable space with hopefully everything you'll need for a great visit. We've tried to replicate most of the items we use day to day meaning you won't have to pack the kitchen sink. If there is anything specific you need to have, then send us a message and we'll let you now if its there already, something we can arrange or let you know to bring your own. There is a fire pit in the garden and a starter supply of logs. If you need more, we can supply these at GBP10 for a barrow load.
Keen gardener with not enough hours in the day and happy if you're a weeder....we are always available if you need anything but very happy for you to make yourselves at home.
A repurposed farm on a traditional estate with 5 long-term renters and 1 other holiday cottage. Whilst rural, Ramageton can be wild in weather but for whatever reason offers cosy calm.
