We have 7 properties available to let now all over the island and have been fortunate to receive some lovely reviews from our visitors. Each property has stunning views and has been furnished to the highest standard. We are a very focussed team and absolutely love what we do and feel exceptionally proud to be able to bring people to Skye and give them a first class experience. We want to assure all our guests that all our cottages remain open. Although we are highly recognised for our exceptional cleaning standards, we have taken extra precautions and increased the time between changeovers to make sure all our properties are cleaned to the highest standard.

Monkstadt No- 8 McEachann’s Hideout is a completely refurbished ground floor cottage featuring a spacious open plan kitchen and living area where you can enjoy uninterrupted sea views out to the west coast of Skye. A luxurious king sized bedroom and en-suite allow for a comfortable stay for a couple looking to enjoy a unique, historic building at Monkstadt Steadings on the Isle of Skye. There is also the option of a double pull out sofa bed in the living room which will sleep another two comfortably.

Neighbourhood information

Monkstadt No- 8 McEachann’s Hideout sits in the grounds of the historic Monkstadt House, once home to the Clan MacDonald and is steeped in history. The cottage is located on the famous Trotternish Peninsula in the north of Skye where you can see the Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Lealt Falls and Duntulm Castle. This is a stunning location, perfect for walkers and sight seeing. The village of Uig is nearby where there are several excellent eating places and a first class local store full of everything you will need for your stay. Whether you enjoy hiking, fishing and photography or you want to experience something different such as kayaking, wildlife stalking or foraging, Skye offers all kinds of outdoor activities. There are several friendly guides located near our cottages and we will be happy to recommend their services.
