Leworin is situated in the peaceful surroundings of Causewayhead. The National Wallace Monument is a 10 minute walk away, and Stirling University is located alongside. There is no shortage of lovely walks through this historic area. Stirling Castle is also only a 10/15 minute walk away. The Castle was the key to the kingdom of Scotland, dominating a vast volcanic rock above the river Forth at the meeting point between Lowlands and Highlands. Its origins are ancient and over the centuries it grew into a great royal residence and a powerful stronghold. A great day can be spent here exploring many more historic facts about Stirling Castle.
We are also fortunate to have one of Stirlings finest Pub/restaurants nearby; The Birds and Bees. This gastropub is the perfect place to take in a relaxing drink/meal after a day exploring.
