On a site of three pods, Derwen is immaculately presented with breathtaking views of rural Welsh countryside, perfect for a couples getaway. Located near the town of Llanfair Caereinion this property is in the heart of Wales with lots of walks, and countryside to explore. Complete with open plan area inside the property, this leave a spacious and airy feel. The kitchen area comes complete with two ring hob, microwave & kettle as well as a circular dining table for meal times. With a grey & mustard colour scheme this leave a modern look on the minimalist property, the free standing sofa is the perfect place to relax and watch your favourite series on the smart TV. To the back of the property you will find the the plush double bed, the perfect place for your breakfast in the morning or to relax in after a day of exploring in the evening. This property has a walk in shower, wash basin & flushing WC. If the interior sounds good, wait until you read about the outside.. with a private hot tub what better way to spend your time away then relaxing with a glass of bubbly whilst taking in the views of rolling green hills. On the decking outside Derwen you will also find outdoor seating, perfect for alfresco dining on a warm Summers evening. This property neighbours Bedwen & Celyn and booked together can accommodate up to 6 people.

Powis Castle, Welshpool (8 miles) A mediaeval castle, fortress and grand Country house which has beautiful gardens and walks. If you're lucky you may spot a deer or two in the grounds! Coed Y Dinas, Welshpool (8 miles) Large and unique shopping centre created from old farm buildings. Whilst having a browse around all the fabulous aisles, check out Howards Restaurant serving hot and cold food as well as Sunday Lunch. Rhiw Valley Light Railway, Welshpool (8 miles) A small narrow gauge railway set in a beautiful welsh valley. Run by volunteers and open on a selection of weekends throughout the year. Pistyll Rhaeadr, Llanrhaedr ym Mochnant (24 miles) Visit the highest waterfall in Wales located in the Berwyn Mountains. Lots of public footpaths to explore and a tea room to refuel in!
