A charming, comfortable place to stay with all the necessary modern conveniences. Ted was friendly and welcoming. Very simple but adequate breakfast facilities available. Awoken by a cockerel crowing, which confirmed its bucolic credentials....

This very comfortable double bedded accommodation, with en suite, is situated in Caradoon Town a small hamlet on the edge of Bodmin Moor. A small fridge ,toaster, tea&coffee making facilities are available. Plus there are numerous licensed pubs and restaurants within a short distance. The location is ideal for cyclists and surfers, being convenient for Looe. Polperro, and Newquay. The nearby beaches being the best in the UK with one at Widegates being on the list of the best in the world.
Both Ted an Kath are retired and live an active life, with many interests. Ted was a keen cyclist in his youth and loves talking about those days. He also has a keen interest (and knowledge) in model railways, hence the annex is named Platform 4. Kath together with Ted also have a keen interest in art, Ted being a retired Head of Department at the local College of Art.
There are numerous attractions easily accessed from Caradon Town. The City of Plymouth with boat trips leaving from the Mayflower Steps, famously, where the Pilgrim Fathers left England en route to America. Plus a short walk away Plymouth Hoe can be found where Sir Francis Drake spotted the Spanish Armada and left to defeat it. The Box and fabulous Aquarium are also well worth a visit.
