Under its previous ownership, this property operated as a full hotel and restaurant. We now offer four self-check-in en-suite rooms. These rooms are unmanned, but staff are readily available to assist you if any issues arise during your stay. A small breakfast is supplied in the room upon check-in for the following day, including items such as fruit juice, water, croissants, cheese, oatcakes, and fresh fruit, as well as other items in the mini fridge. Rooms can be arranged with either a double bed or twin single beds upon request at the time of booking. Complimentary parking is available to the right, with spaces located below the room windows. We acknowledge that there is an online presence for the former Carnegie Lodge Hotel, so please do not be mistaken when booking with us.
At Carnegie Lodgings, our dedicated small team is committed to providing you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Located on the outskirts of Tain, our establishment offers a tranquil setting ideal for relaxing evenings after a day of exploring the breathtaking Highlands.
Located across the A9 in a peaceful part of town, Carnegie Lodgings has lovely walks nearby to enjoy and stunning views. Just a short distance from the town center, where you can enjoy the local pubs, restaurants, and shops. Enjoy the rich history of Tain by visiting the local churches and museum, as well as the monuments situated around town. We have a fantastic golf course to enjoy down at Tain Golf Club, where you can also enjoy a spot of lunch.
