Located in the town centre of Oakham, the The George Inn is 1.5 miles from Rutland Water. The area is popular for sailing, trout fishing, bird watching and cycling. The George Inn is opposite Oakham School, Oakham Castle and ideal for visits to Burghley House and Rockingham Racetrack Oakham train station is a 2-minute walk away. Free parking is offered to guests. All bedrooms feature a flat screen multi-channel TV, complementary tea and coffee and a work desk, alongside a private bathroom. The George Restaurant has a large choice of dishes, all freshly prepared by our team of creative internationally trained Chefs. There is also 24-hour room service available.
