El Battlesteads es una elegante posada rural que ofrece habitaciones con baño y alberga un restaurante con capacidad para 80 comensales. Está situado en la bella campiña inglesa, cerca de la muralla romana, y ocupa una granja reconvertida del siglo XVIII. Esta posada tradicional conserva el ambiente rural de Northumbria gracias a sus techos de vigas y su acogedora estufa de leña. Dispone de un salón acristalado amplio y luminoso, que da a un patio y a un jardín amurallado. El Battlesteads se enorgullece de sus credenciales medioambientales y ha recibido el Premio de Oro de la asociación ecológica Green Tourism Business Scheme.
