Company information

My hobbies (Esther’s) are traveling, learning, practicing languages and decorating. That is the origin of the Museum Apartments, where we have chosen to provide light and color with details such as the wall mural decorated with photographs of Ramón García and the works of Pablo Azkue. Jose Luis, on the other hand, is a restless entrepreneur and passionate about cooking; if you request it, you will be invited to get to know the Basque culture from within our Gastronomic Society. In any case, we both enjoy hosting friends, so we will work to provide you with a pleasant experience.

Property information

Hi, we are Jose Luis and Esther, tireless travelers who, like you, enjoy immersing ourselves in diverse cultures and getting to know new people. Our studio apartments are located in the historic center of Zarautz, opposite the Basque Photomuseum, (hence the name of “Apartments Museum”), next to a restaurant and a supermarket, and 200 meters from the beach. Parking included in public parking

Neighbourhood information

The apartments are located in a very lively central street. To the right you will see the Egoki restaurant where you will feel at home. If you enjoy cooking, to the left you will find the Eroski supermarket and, a bit further, the fresh food local market. Crossing the street you will access the interesting Basque photography museum located next to a “fronton” where you can watch (and perhaps practice) Basque pelota. We are very close to Mount Santa Bárbara, which you can easily climb using the "Roman pathway" and enjoy the breathtaking views from its summit. The 2,800 m long beach of Zarautz is 200 m away, there you can go for a walk till Getaria, practice water sports, sunbathe or have dinner by the sea.
