The hosts redesigned the space as their second home in December 2022, with further renovations in February 2025, including a fully renovated kitchen with brand-new appliances (Nespresso Coffee Machine). It’s perfect for solo travelers, couples, and families, and with super high-speed WiFi, it’s an ideal spot for remote workers. The ground floor has two bedrooms with king-sized beds and anti-allergic mattress protectors, plus a bathroom with floor heating and a washing machine. Upstairs, you’ll find a bright living room with a smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen (including coffee, tea, and cooking basics), and another bathroom. Both floors have south-facing terraces with unobstructed views of the Mediterranean Sea from sunrise to sunset. A third bedroom in the basement features its own sink, a spacious wardrobe, and a queen-size double bed. Outside, there’s a renovated garden, accessible from the main gate on the street rather than directly from the house, creating a private and peaceful outdoor retreat. Behind the house, a shaded patio with an orange tree is perfect for afternoon coffee. Parking is available on the main street. With 325 sunny days a year, free access to a large community pool, and numerous well-maintained public beaches, this is the perfect vacation spot year-round. The coastline is dotted with medieval watchtowers, romantic lookouts, and hidden bays ideal for snorkeling, diving, fishing, paddleboarding, and kayaking. The Sierras de Tejeda offer a network of hiking trails, ranging from easy to medium difficulty, directly accessible from the house.

The urban bus stop is conveniently located 1 min away from the house (10 min ride). There are restaurants and supermarkets in the area, small merchants sell fresh produce from the region and antiques on the local market (10 min walk) every Tuesday and Sunday. Casa Yaya is well-suited for remote work with a 600 Mbps fibre internet connection. Restaurants and services in Nerja are open all year. Airport transfer is available and you can rent cars, motos and bikes in Nerja. Free parking is available on site and on street.
