Ayampe Guest House opened its hotel in 2001, when it became one of the first beachfront hotels in the area. Our location is unmatched as we are located just 10 steps from the ocean. Ayampe is a very special place, it has become more and more popular, as travelers from all over the world began to discover its magic. During your stay, enjoy our daily activities like surfing and snorkeling, or relax and unwind in our oceanfront pool. The only concern you will have at Ayampe Guest House is whether or not to extend your stay!

Ayampe is located on the pacific coast, 3 hours north of Guayaquil’s airport. Ayampe has become renowned for being a quiet and tranquil surf village. The endless waves of Ayampe’s consistent beach break sees surfers returning every season. Our location is conveniently situated 15 minutes away from Puerto Lopez, a more developed fishing village that has large fresh fruit and vegetable markets. We are located 30 minutes from Montañita, a busier town, for those wanting a night out. Taxis can easily be arranged between Ayampe and these nearing locations for an affordable price.
