The beach is very good and child friendly. A view of special beauty you will enjoy from the terrace and from the house. The harbor of Norsminde is nearby, it is still lively. You may also be able to buy your fish directly from the quay. If you have slept through the timing of the incoming fishing boats, the well-stocked fish store offers fresh fish throughout the summer. At this point we would also like to introduce you to the Norsminde Kro, it is world famous for its gourmet food. However, if attractions are high on your wish list, then Aarhus is not far away, where you can have a good stroll, enjoy nice big ice cream cones at Tivoli Friheden or attend a Friday concert on a warm summer evening. How life was in great-grandmother's time, you can experience in the open-air museum Den Gamle By, in the art museum ARoS you can see the city from above and Olafur Eliasson's 'Your Rainbor Panorama'. You can stroll well on the Strøget and in the Bruuns Galleri. If your children decide about excursions, it goes to Legoland or the lion park Givskud Zoo, which is about an hour's drive from the house.
