In Jægerspris you can visit the old castle and treat yourself to an ice cream from Poulsens Isbod, which has been selling ice cream since 1913. The mill at Jægerspris is still in operation and you can also buy fresh flour there in the summer. A little further on is the nearest town, Frederikssund, where you can shop and eat out.
